How To Remove Quick Shine From Hardwood Floors

My floors were looking dull so I applied Quick Shine to them. They looked cracking at commencement. My son decided to surprise me while I was out of town and applied five coats of Quick Shine to "restore them". They were left with streaks. I've tried everything I can think to of to remove this product from my floors including a Shark steamer, flooring scrubbers, Windex, vinegar and water and nothing has worked. My husband has even gotten on his hands and knees to no avail. You tin can see spots where the solution is gone and patches where it remains. At this indicate I'm wondering if my but hope is sanding them downwards and re-staining them.

I'm not sure if you realize or not that Quick Shine has a deep cleaner. The deep cleaner is used to remove the quick smoothen off your floors. You need to apply the cleaner in hot water and apply this to your floors. It should sit on the floors for several hours to work correctly. Afterward, you should be able to mop this upwardly. If you still have a few areas that have this build upwardly on them, y'all'll need to do it again.

Doubt its that easy..anything that shines floors that well will cause a build upwards..use water and Norwex microfiber mops...work wonderfully..then crawly! My dad was in the function possessor of a very large worldy janitor service..he will tell yous NEVER use these products..not on tile vinyl and specially not on wood floors!!

We take used Quick Smooth for years on our laminate floors. In fact, our dwelling cleaning company has applied Quick polish to these floors every week for at leas 8 months and the flooring retained its glossy terminate throughout this entire menstruum. Unfortunately , the buildup of

the finish began to flake because of our dogs toes that scratched through the multiple coats.I dreaded the thought of having to remove all of the many coats of quick shine that we had applied to our floors and contacted a local floor cleaning company to see if they could practise the chore. They came to our home and gave me a price of $3.00 per sq. foot to remove all of the old Quick shine. As the size of our gresat room is 28" ten 36', their price was more than $iii,000.

I chosen Holloway Firm ans was instructed to purchase their deep cleaning product and follow the uncomplicated directions of pouring it into a bucket of hot h2o and and so spreading this mixture on our floor. A few minutes afterwards it began to dissolve and all I did was to use my small rollaround vacuum to suck upwardly the liquid off of the floor. With negligible effort, I had our floor looking great in less than an hr!

In a few places, I had to reapply the water and deep cleaner to remove what I had missed. When I finished the floor had completely dried.
I then reapplied Quick Smooth production in less than 15 minutes beyond the unabridged floor and it looked great once more. Cheers Holloway House.

P.Southward. The cost, about $8 for the Deep Cleaner and Quick Shine products vs.$3,000 from the cleaning visitor. As a consequence, I contemplated un-retiring and starting my own flooring cleaning business. At 88 years of age, all the same, and even though this was an easy job , I am non sure I could do this on a daily basis. In one case every ii or three months, would be a snap even for you and I.

This product is hell to get off woods floors. Do not keep coating the floors with it. Information technology is the worst wood floor product I accept always used. Days and days to get off. Never over again.
